The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is one of America’s earliest ghost stories that still resonate every generation from henceforth.  The setting is in a village near Tarry Town, New York where a schoolteacher named Ichabod Crane is in a romantic competition with another man for the beautiful daughter of a farmer. After leaving a party at the daughter's family house, Ichabod sees the Headless Horseman. Ichabod is never seen again and left people with unanswered questions if he was abducted by the Headless Horseman or simply disappeared due to extreme fear.
