This book is very interesting. At first glance, the plot might seem stereotypical wherein the classic “killer” story revolves around a boy who is allegedly accused of killing the girl.
This novel has some surprises and turns it a deeper novel than meets the eye.
The story is being told from three different POVs: Josh (Amelia's ex-boyfriend), Amelia (the “missing” girl), and Harper (a young, up-and-coming detective). This narrative style makes for an engaging and fast-paced read.
When Amelia first goes missing, everyone suspects Josh. However, as the story unfolds, it becomes clear that both Amelia and Josh have secrets of their own. As the story continued to enfold, the plot continues to twist and gyrate with unnerving roller coaster of hidden expectations and uncover new motives.
Overall, I found this story exciting and well-written. I’d rate it 5 out of 5 stars!
